This is what your friends are saying about the Driver's Edge events.

It's been a long time since we have run into each other at the track.  I just wanted to drop you a note letting you know that a close friend of mine is the guy who flew in from DC for the event, Jim.  He reported back to me that (other than being shackled by a plain stock A4 1.8T) he had a great time and said he loved you guys and that made a big difference, as I suspected he would say.  :)

Thanks for validating my years of praise to Jim about your organization!  I hope to get back to an event before too long.  I miss it!

Take care,

Lindsay

Thank you very much for the awesome event you guys put on, and thank you so much for going above and beyond to help me find a set of tires and allowing me to complete my weekend.  It meant so much to me, and I can't thank you enough for it.  I'll definitely recommend the driver's edge to people at every opportunity.

You couldn't be more correct this weekend, 'playing' in the rain was physically taxing and mentally exhausting.  After having a couple of days to fully absorb (no pun intended) what all happened during the weekend, I am thrilled with what I learned!  When you get the time, please forward my evaluation since that's gonna help me too.  If any of the tracks you run a future event at have sprinkler systems, I'd recommend flooding the track during part of a 2 day event as a teaching tool. Folks who only run in the dry are indeed missing alot.

Thx, Corky

I don't know how many participants of last weekend's event fully appreciated your point about the rain providing a better learning experience.  I'm sure some folks just wanted to enjoy their cars on a nice dry track.  Like many people, I considered canceling my weekend.  I'm glad I didn't.

As a newbie, my goal was to learn, learn, learn - car control, driving technique, driving line, etc.  I am convinced the rain is a perfect way to learn these things.  The instructors and advanced drivers talk about positioning the car within a few inches of their intended line.  As a novice, plus or minus a half a car width or car length seems reasonable.  On a wet MSR track, plus or minus half a car width is the difference between asphalt and ice.  You have to learn and see the dry line in order to avoid it, and you have to learn the wet line.  Vehicle dynamics are immediately obvious.  I experienced understeer, oversteer, tank slapper, and almost everything else mentioned in class, all in one weekend and at much slower speeds.

So please put me on the rain list.  I'll watch for and seek out future events that call for rainy weather.  If rain threatens an event and people are not signing up or trying to bail, give me a call.  I'll fill the slot and be happy to pay.

You have a great organization and I plan to sign up for many events to come - even the dry ones :)

Thanks,
Jeff

I just wasted to THANK YOU a lot for all your help to get me a spot last weekend. I had an absolutely blast. It was my first weekend with Driver's Edge and I really enjoyed it.
I could notice that you guys are doing this for passion. Also, my instructor was awesome!
I'm definitely pleased with the event you guys put together. In fact, I will register for TWS in March right now! Have a great Christmas and Happy New Year!

I just wanted to thank you for another fun, educational and memorable weekend.  I thoroughly have enjoyed the 2 events I have participated in with The Drivers Edge (June
and October at TWS).  I have had two different instructors and both were very helpful, knowledgeable, fun and professional.

I have attended several schools in the last 6 years but I feel none have come close to the kind of return for the dollar I get from The Drivers Edge.  I intend on participating in
as many events as my budget will allow.

Please forward my appreciation to my latest instructor.
Thank you,
Carlos

I cannot remember a weekend that I have had more fun nor enjoyed my Z06 more!  The event was extremely well orchestrated, as always, and the instructors were superb!

Of course, the fact that I "graduated" had something to do with it, however, even if I had not, my personal satisfaction with my car and my performance, enhanced by the
excellent instructor I had (Cindy) was second to none,

Bravo! Well done!  I will always encourage my friends to take advantage of TDE!!!!!!!!!

You and your team do a top flight job of organizing and running these events.  The level of professionalism exhibited is commendable.

In class you mentioned some books that would make good reading for novice drivers.  Could you please forward some titles?

Also, I would be interested in how I was rated in the instructor scoring after the weekend.  Whatever you can share in that vein would be appreciated.

Once again, I had a great time, and I will be back for more!  See you sometime soon.

Yours truly,
Mark

I wanted to thank you for running such a fantastic driving school. My son and I had one of the best weekends of our lives this last weekend at TWS!

Everyone with TDE was professional and just plain COOL. I was fortunate to have two different instructors and while they both were good.... My Instructor was the best! He was able to get me to understand was smooth was. The ride I took with him in his Vett was almost as fun as driving my Lightning. Wayne IS smooth. As fast as we were going I never felt we were in danger. I was also signed me off solo. I wish you could know how good that made me feel. I made sure I did not screw up solo since I did not want my Instructor to look bad after putting his confidence in me. My son and I will be back. Next time Jay will bring his 2003 Mach 1. Once again I want to say thanks, you run a great organization!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff. I was quite impressed with the fluidity of the event. I gained a great deal of confidents especially in turn one. Boy is that scary! My instructor was great; he and I had good chemistry, which made for a wonderful experience. I cannot wait to do it again. I of course will have to wait until I get a break overhaul done.
Again I want to thank you for a  wonderful weekend, and hope to see you again real soon.

Matt

Just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you.  This event was excellent.  The gentlemen that runs the grid was incredible.  He made things go very smooth.

My instructor,  was incredible.  I learned a lot from him.

Thanks.
Karim

Just got home and unloaded.  Last year after attending the Driver's Edge, I e-mailed you stating that it was the best time I'd ever had behind the wheel of a car.  Well, that is no longer true.

My second event trumped the prior one and is now tops on my list of driving experiences!

My instructor was an excellent instructor.  I felt that I accomplished my goals for this session and learned plenty more in addition to that.  I was running much faster with a much higher confidence level by my last run today.

Thanks for running a safe and fun organization.  I look forward to my next event!

Karl

I wanted to take the time to say thank you for a great learning experience.  As we discussed this weekend, I have run various forms of motor sport events in the past.  I have never however enjoyed myself or been able to learn as much as I did last weekend.  I noticed and appreciated you and your teams effort to not only keep me happy but to keep everyone of your particapnats happy and healthy.  Thank you again for going beyond the call, your excellent instruction, and for coming off the track during your limited free time to help me out.

 "I'll be back"

Regards
Mark
