Who is The Drivers Edge?

 

The Drivers Edge is owned by Reliable Professional Services Inc. a customer service corporation that has been in business for over 27 years. The Drivers Edge Founder is Rick Schwalenberg also, President of Reliable Professional Services, CEO.


The Drivers Edge has been proving its great value and outstanding reputation in the Driving Event business for over 10 years now. The Drivers Edge Management Team consists of 8 individuals with over 48 years of combined track event experience and organizational management skills.

 

The Drivers Edge Instructor Team consists of over 60 on call instructors. Many of the Instructors have Race experience ranging from Spec. Racers, Pro Rally to 24 hrs Daytona and LeMans. But there’s so much more to being an instructor other than race driving: communication, some what of a psychiatrist and be able to interpret what a car is doing from the passenger's seat and communicate to a wide range of personalities.
 

ALL instructors are hand picked, evaluated and trained over a 5 event period. 2/3 of all instructor candidates don't make the cut.  The Drivers Edge, prides itself on the quality of it’s qualified in-car instructor staff.

 

The Drivers Edge, not only guides, instructs participants. It also evaluates them and keeps a running history of their progress and skill level to better meet the needs of each participant.


The Drivers Edge is an intense learning experience in a control safe environment with one on one instant feedback on the track. 


Some of The Drivers Edge accomplishments:

  • 1st  DE to drive Texas Motor Speedway in 2.3 LeMans Configuration (Roval)

  • 1st  DE to drive Motorsport Ranch in the clock wise direction.

  • 1st  DE to drive Texas World Speedway 2.9 in the clock wise direction.

  • 1st  to run National Car Club event on 2 different track facilities with in the same weekend.

  • 1st DE to drive under the lights at Texas Motor Speedway night time event.

  • Sub contracted to run National and local Car Club driving events.

  • Track Church service Sunday mornings.

  • The Drivers Edge runs more events than any other organization in the South West Region.

  • Motorsport Ranch 3.1 mile

  • Texas World Speedway 2.9 mile Both directions

  • Hallett Spec Racer Event

  • Texas Motor Speedway  2.3 mile Roval (advanced solo approved only track)
